The Byrdine F. Lewis College of Nursing and Health Professions is seeking to hire an experienced College Human Resources Officer.

WHAT WILL YOU DO:

This position will manage all of the daily HR operations for the college, including talent management, classification & compensation, employee relations, performance management, payroll, faculty affairs, training and development, and compliance.

The Lewis College consists of the School of Nursing, the Perimeter Associate Degree Nursing Program, and the Departments of Nutrition, Respiratory Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy, and Health Sciences. This position will report to the Assistant Dean for Finance & Administration.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

  • Train and supervise the college's staff administrators in relation to new HR processes, procedures, and systems, and address any issues/concerns.

  • Support and assist the Dean and Assistant Dean for Finance & Administration in implementing the college's strategic plan as it relates to Human Resources as well as planning and research for future personnel needs.

  • Serve as the college liaison with central Human Resources, Payroll, Faculty Affairs, Research, and other university offices. Represent the college at Human Resources Advisory Committee (HRAC) meetings.

  • Prepare reports related to HR/Personnel for the Dean, Associate Deans, and Assistant Dean. These reports may include, but are not limited to recruitment goals, outcomes, compliance, and current data for use in annual reports, accreditation, and other uses.

  • Perform other HR related duties as assigned.

Qualifications :

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field and three years of related supervisory/management experience in Human Resources; or a combination of education and related experience.

Preferred Requirements:

  • Experience in a university setting preferred.

  • Experience with PPGRA, PeopleAdmin, Interfolio, and the faculty promotion, tenure, and review process.
