In the Internship - Mechanical Design Engineering, you contribute to the design and development of complex mechanical systems, directly impacting the performance and reliability of next-generation microchips. Your work as an intern at ASML Wilton, CT will be meaningful, visible, and essential to our global success.

Must currently be in consideration for GEM Fellowship to be eligible for this role.

Role and Responsibilities

As an Internship - Mechanical Design Engineering, you support the engineering team by performing hands-on tasks and collaborating with experienced professionals. You learn by doing, while contributing to real projects that shape the future of technology.

  • Create and modify 3D models and engineering drawings using industry-standard software.
  • Assist in the design, analysis, and testing of mechanical components and assemblies.
  • Support prototype fabrication and participate in laboratory evaluations.
  • Document project findings and communicate results to team members.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to solve technical challenges.
  • Participate in design reviews and provide constructive feedback.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work environment.
Education and Experience

To be considered for the Internship - Mechanical Design Engineering, you should also be pursuing a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering or a Master of Science in Aerospace Engineering (or higher). Experience with computer-aided design software (such as SolidWorks or Autodesk Inventor) and basic laboratory tools is strongly preferred.

Additional Responsibilities:

There is potential for exposure to strong magnetic fields, high voltage and currents.

This position requires access to controlled technology, as defined in the United States Export Administration Regulations (15 C.F.R. * 730, et seq.). Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to access such controlled technology prior to beginning work. Business demands may require ASML to proceed with candidates who are immediately eligible to access controlled technology.
