Job Title: Quantitative Analyst - Treasury Division (Balance Sheet Management, Credit Loss Analytics, Capital Planning & Stress Testing) Location(s): New York City, NY (Hybrid: 3 days on site) Overview This role supports key quantitative functions across the Treasury Division, including balance sheet optimization, credit loss modeling, capital planning, and regulatory stress testing. The position requires strong analytical depth, hands-on programming capability, and the ability to translate quantitative insights into actionable recommendations for senior stakeholders. Candidate Profile Ideal candidates will be graduates from top universities in India or the United States, holding advanced degrees in quantitative disciplines and demonstrating strong modeling, programming, and communication capabilities. Required Qualifications
- Master's, MBA, or PhD in a quantitative discipline (Computer Science, Financial Engineering, Mathematics, Data Science, Engineering, or related fields).
- Proficiency in at least one programming language (Python, R, C++, Java, Matlab) and strong data-handling skills using SQL and Pandas.
- Demonstrated experience designing, developing, and implementing mathematical, financial-risk, or machine-learning models.
- Strong grounding in advanced statistical concepts (e.g., regression, time series analysis, hypothesis testing, predictive analytics).
- Relevant hands-on professional experience aligned to level of education.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, enabling effective cross-functional collaboration and documentation of complex analytical work
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, validate, and enhance quantitative models supporting balance sheet strategy, liquidity management, credit loss estimation (CECL), and capital planning.
- Support regulatory stress testing (CCAR/DFAST) by building scenario-based models, forecasting frameworks, and sensitivity analyses.
- Analyze large financial datasets and extract actionable insights to support Treasury and Risk partners.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Finance, Treasury, Risk, and Technology to ensure model robustness, compliance, and alignment with regulatory expectations.
- Produce high-quality documentation, presentations, and analytical reports for internal governance committees and regulatory reviews.
