Key Position Details:

  • Candidates must be located in Minnesota or WIsconsin

  • Area of focus: Referral workflows & tools, Care integration network management

  • EPIC experience is strongly preferred as this role will focus on referral workflows and tools with EPIC.

  • Leadership experience strongly preferred within a healthcare business services/referral setting.

  • 1.0 FTE (80 hours per two-week pay period)

  • 8-hour day shifts

  • No weekends

Job Description:

Helps improve routine to complex organizational processes and systems by reviewing, analyzing, and evaluating business systems and user needs. Performs detailed requirements analysis, documents processes, and performs user acceptance in order to understand the problem, formulate the requirements and deliver the solution.

Principle Responsibilities

  • Analysis and documentation.
    • Identifies and defines business requirements.
    • Constructs workflow charts and diagrams.
    • Validates resource requirements and develops basic cost estimate models.
    • Manages complex requirement conflicts, and assists associate and intermediate level Business Analysts with moderately complex to complex requirement conflicts.
    • Implements, modifies, tests, and administers business system applications independently.
    • Improves current systems by studying current practices and designing modifications.
    • Documents and communicates processes in need of improvement.
    • Communicates insights and plans to cross-functional team members and management.
  • Customer management and support.
    • Prepares technical reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.
    • Implements, tests, and deploys solutions to business problems.
    • Supports business transition and helps to establish change.
  • Project management.
    • Manages medium to large size projects, develops project plans, and monitors project performance.
    • Prioritizes initiatives based on business needs and requirements.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

  • 5 to 7 years experience in a business analyst role or a related position

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business or related field

Pay Range

Pay Range: $40.37 to $55.85 per hour The pay described reflects the base hiring pay range. Your starting rate would depend on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, your experience, education, and the union agreement (if applicable). Shift, weekend and/or other differentials may be available to increase your pay rate for certain shifts or work.
