Level 2 Data Center Technician Location: Onsite in Mt. Pleasant, WI Why Join Us? Are you passionate about technology and hands-on work in a fast-paced environment? We're looking for Level 2 Data Center Technicians to be part of a team that powers critical IT infrastructure. You'll work with cutting-edge hardware, support GPU deployments, and ensure seamless operations in one of the most dynamic data centers in Southeastern Wisconsin. What You'll Do: * Install, cable, and configure servers and switches with precision. * Troubleshoot and resolve hardware issues quickly and effectively. * Deploy GPUs and perform break-fix tasks to keep systems running smoothly. * Collaborate with network admins to ensure optimal connectivity and performance. * Maintain high standards for cabling, hardware audits, and firmware updates. Shifts Available (3x4x12 Schedule): * Sun - Wed, 6:00 AM - 6:00 PM * Sun - Wed, 6:00 PM - 6:00 AM (Night shift premium applies) * Wed - Sat, 6:00 AM - 6:00 PM * Wed - Sat, 6:00 PM - 6:00 AM (Night shift premium applies) * (Every other Wednesday off) What We're Looking For: * 2-3 years of experience in a data center environment. * Strong understanding of hardware, cabling, and network fundamentals. * Ability to lift up to 35 lbs, climb ladders, and work on your feet for extended periods. * Familiarity with GPU deployment, structured cabling, and troubleshooting. * Certifications like CompTIA A+, Server+, CCENT preferred; CCNA is a plus. * Bonus points for scripting experience (PowerShell, Python, Bash) and ITIL knowledge. Experience Level: Entry Level Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Mount Pleasant, WI. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $28.00/hr.
