*Professional Summary* The Clinical Support Associate - Community Supports (CSA-CS) plays a vital role in supporting the Community Supports Program by providing operational and clerical assistance to clinical teams. This position ensures timely and accurate coordination of workflows, data entry, and member/provider communication. The CSA-CS interacts regularly with CenCal Health employees, providers, and members, contributing to the delivery of high-quality, member-focused services. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and excellent written and verbal communication are essential for success in this role.
*Key Responsibilities* * Provide coordination and administrative support for the Community Supports Program, ensuring efficient daily operations. * Answer inbound calls promptly and manage the Health Services phone queues. * Make outbound calls to providers, members, and internal staff regarding operational processes and follow-up needs. * Process authorization and referral requests, and assist with provider reassignment and intake for Community Support referrals. * Conduct health surveys and periodic telephonic outreach to members to ensure timely access to services. * Maintain confidentiality of member information in compliance with HIPAA and organizational policies. * Organize, schedule, and track member contacts, including mailings for assignments, authorizations, and Notices of Action (NOAs). * Collaborate with Case Management and other internal departments to support Community Supports activities and resolve operational challenges. * Assist the Program Manager with data tracking and reporting as requested. * Respond to emails, calls, and other communications in a timely, professional manner while adhering to performance standards. *Qualifications* * High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree or healthcare-related coursework preferred. * Minimum 1-2 years of experience in administrative or clinical support roles, preferably in a healthcare setting. * Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with members, providers, and staff. * Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and ability to learn internal systems quickly. * Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and commitment to maintaining confidentiality. * Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and manage multiple priorities effectively. * Strong organizational skills and attention to detail for accurate data entry and tracking. * Experience handling inbound/outbound calls and managing call queues in a professional environment. *Job Type & Location* This is a Contract position based out of Chico, CA. *Pay and Benefits* The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $24.00/hr.
