Nestle USA, Inc. seeks multiple Senior Manager, Intermarket Supply Planning in Arlington VA

Duties: Provide leadership and mentoring for a team of Planners to ensure the right career development is prioritized and focus placed on functional competency improvements. Responsible for succession planning, and actively engaged in HR Lifecycle activities with the team. Execute plans to achieve and exceed customer service, working capital, waste, and forecast accuracy targets. Collaborate, build, and maintain relationships across source markets and execution teams. Lead Intermarket Supply Planning COE with ownership of functional vision and practices to drive for synergies at scale for import activities supporting multiple businesses. Act as the first point of escalation for communication of Supply Planning and issue resolution with other nestle Markets and Zone/SBU teams. Develop and guide implementation of recommended standardization and be a change agent across supply planning teams. Foster Continuous Excellence behaviors within the team, embedding a root cause analysis and continuous improvement mindset. Identify and allocate resources of team to effectively drive process improvement and productivity projects within business scope and across functions. Build, steer, and lead cross-functional teams to achieve core business objectives and resolve complex business problems. Monitor and manage resource allocation within the team for core and project work to ensure efficient execution and staff development in line with people development and performance. Responsible for Communication such as Projected Out of Stock, Service and Inventory Projections, Working Capital Delivery, and Physical/Logistical Capacity Management.

Requirements:

Requires a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business or a related field plus 5 years of experience in Production Planning, Supply Planning, Demand Planning, Supply Chain, or Operations. Required experience must include each of the following:

  • 5 years of experience analyzing and interpreting data;
  • 5 years of experience in Microsoft software including Excel;
  • 5 years of functional experience in Supply Chain processes including demand forecasting, production scheduling or distribution planning;
  • 3 years of experience in SAP or OMP;
  • 3 years of experience identifying critical elements and KPIs and articulating technical metrics in a simplified and high-level way to leadership;
  • 3 years of experience working with key input/outputs, and breaking down root cause and analysis of global factories for cross-functional business meetings;
  • 3 years of experience working in inter-market supply markets;
  • 3 years of experience utilizing APO Demand and Supply Networking planning solution; and
  • 3 years of experience driving change in management and continuous improvement including Go-See-Think-Do (GEMBA), Pareto, and DMAIC projects.
