As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned healthcare locations, remaining highly visible to help deter security-related incidents. You will conduct routine patrols throughout the facility and provide outstanding customer service and communication to all visitors and staff. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as participating in emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, using de-escalation techniques when necessary within the healthcare environment.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify potential security-related concerns.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious behavior.
• Document and report security-related incidents, hazards, or unusual occurrences according to site procedures and Allied Universal protocols.
• Assist with crowd control and/or patient movement as directed, maintaining a professional and approachable presence at all times.
• Collaborate with hospital staff and first responders during emergencies or drills as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
