What You'll Do:

  • Carry out security-related procedures and site-specific policies in a professional manner, providing customer service to clients and guests at a technology-focused location.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations using a calm, problem-solving approach, while following established protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify any unusual conditions.
  • Monitor access points and verify credentials of individuals entering restricted areas, maintaining awareness of security-related matters specific to technology environments.
  • Assist with emergency response activities as directed by Allied Universal and site leadership, supporting the overall security-related operations of the location.
  • Document and report incidents, observations, and activities accurately and promptly using company-approved methods.
  • Collaborate with Allied Universal team members and site contacts to address security-related concerns and maintain a professional presence throughout the assigned area.

Minimum Requirements:

  • An armed guard card or license is required.
  • A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
