Your responsibilities include conducting routine patrols, remaining visible throughout the premises, and providing outstanding customer service. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies, including emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, utilizing armed response protocols as required for the location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and to observe for unusual conditions.
• Monitor entry and exit points to help to deter unauthorized access and maintain awareness of individuals on the premises.
• Report and document all incidents, observations, and activities according to Allied Universal and client site requirements.
• Maintain a visible presence at the location to help to deter disruptive or criminal behavior and to provide assistance to employees and/or visitors as needed.
• Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency responders as necessary in the event of critical incidents at the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess a Concealed Carry Weapons Permit.
• Have 1 or more years of law enforcement experience or 2 or more years of security supervisor or manager experience or 3 or more years of security-related experience.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• An armed guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
