As a Security Officer - Tech Patrol Driver Full-Time in University Park, IL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a leading technology and media location, you will conduct routine patrols and remain highly visible to help deter security-related incidents. Your role involves delivering exceptional customer service and clear communication while supporting a secure environment. This is a driving post and requires a valid driver's license. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including the business premises and perimeter, to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Monitor for unusual activity or potential threats within the location, reporting any observations according to company and site guidelines.
• Maintain detailed and accurate logs of activities, incidents, and observations during each shift.
• Work collaboratively with site personnel and Allied Universal management to address security-related needs specific to a tech and media environment.
• Remain visible and approachable to clients, employees, and visitors, providing assistance as needed while helping to maintain a secure environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
