As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal in a retail distribution setting, you will conduct routine patrols throughout the location, helping to deter security-related incidents and supporting a welcoming environment for all visitors and staff. This driving post requires a valid driver's license. You will also provide exceptional customer service, assist with security-related matters, and maintain clear communication while upholding our values of teamwork, integrity, and putting people first.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies, including emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining a professional presence at all times.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail distribution center and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and observe for any irregularities.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and other key areas to help to deter theft, vandalism, and other prohibited activities.
• Assist with access control by verifying credentials and/or identification of individuals entering the location.
• Document and report any security-related incidents, hazards, or unusual occurrences according to Allied Universal and site protocols.
• Collaborate with location staff and law enforcement as needed to address security-related concerns or incidents.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
