JLL has a great opportunity to join our Retail Property Management team in Clearwater, FL at the Countryside Mall.

Job Duties:

  • Performs preventive maintenance and repair work orders for facility mechanical systems, minor electrical, minor plumbing, lighting systems, grounds care, entry systems, roofing, and refuse programs.

  • Performs facility inspections, reporting on conditions impacting satisfactory tenant/customer occupancy and operations.

  • Assist the operations team in the maintenance and repair of building and equipment and/or as directed.

  • Ensure the facility and building systems meet or exceed rated life.

  • Maintain compliance with policies of JLL/Client/Site. Assist in any audits of the site and systems.

  • Ensure a safe work environment while maintaining a clean and organized work area.

  • Additional responsibilities assigned by managers.

  • Participate in ongoing technical, safety, and operational process training programs.

  • Maintain a positive working relationship and be able to communicate with building tenants, staff, and contractors about the work.

  • Candidates will be provided with tools required to perform assigned work scope.

  • Must be willing and able to support any after-hours building-related activity as required.

  • Other tasks as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Have a minimum of 2 years of applicable working experience in general building repair and maintenance.

  • High school diploma or equivalent years of relevant experience.

  • The candidate must possess and maintain a valid state driver's license.

  • Position requires excellent communication skills in English, both oral and written. Bilingual is a plus.

  • Knowledge of the following -- basic carpentry, basic HVAC, basic plumbing, and basic electrical.

  • Ability to frequently walk up and down stairs for inspections and emergency procedure practice or implementation.

  • Ability to climb ladders up to 12 feet and lift 60 lbs. repeatedly.

  • Ability to safely bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, reach, push, pull, and turn frequently.

  • Requires ability to communicate well in both oral and written reports, excellent customer service skills.

  • Must be able to work and act independently, safely, and make solid decisions in the field.

  • Can operate various hand tools.

  • Requires teamwork attitude.
