As a Endoscopy Technician, you will be working collaboratively with the Nurses within the 2-3 Procedure Room unit. Your care and treatment of these patients is an integral part of the Patient Experience. As an Endoscopy Technician, you would be caring for the Endoscopy patient population by assisting during endoscopy procedures, scrubbing into the cases, instrument care and handling, helping with room turnover, transporting specimens, transporting equipment to sterile processing, and other duties as assigned.

Position: Endoscopy Technician
Shift: 40 hours per week, Monday-Friday, Five, 8 hr shifts (6:45am-3:15pm)

On-Call Requirements: Candidates must be within 30 minutes of Riddle Hospital. Call requirements vary but are averaging one night per week and one weekend shift every 3-4 weeks.

Experience:
One year of patient care technician experience preferred. Endoscopy Tech and/or procedure room experience is preferred.

Education:
High school diploma/GED required.

Licensures/Certifications:
BLS Certification by American Heart Association preferred upon hire, required in timeframe specified in CPR (BLS)/ALS/PALS Policy
