Job Description:

The FP&A Analyst I provides analytics and oversight of financials, resource planning, and performance measurements. This entry-level role participates in financial management planning to include business unit/area financial planning, overhead, and general & administrative planning, ensuring the accuracy of financial reporting and coordinating submittals to business area and corporate entities. Responsibilities:
  • Provide analytics and oversight of financials, resource planning, and performance measurements.
  • Participate in indirect rate planning.
  • Support the development and implementation of financial management plans.
  • Coordinate and ensure the accuracy of financial deliverables to corporate entities.
  • Assist in the preparation of financial reports and presentations.
  • Conduct detailed financial and variance analysis to understand business performance and identify trends, opportunities, and risks.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support financial planning and analysis initiatives.
  • Support month-end and year-end closing processes.


Required Skills:

  • 0-2 years of experience in financial planning and analysis, accounting, or a related field.
  • In the absence of a degree, a minimum of 4 years of related experience is required.
  • Ability to analyze and interpret financial data and prepare financial reports and/or projections.
  • Ability to leverage advancing financial tech to continuously improve modeling, forecasting, and financial insights.
  • Familiarity with Profit and Loss statements.


Qualifications Prefer:

  • Enthusiasm for the Aerospace and Defense industry.
  • Advanced skills in MS Excel and other MS Office applications.
  • Prior experience with IT or technology spend analysis Essential Functions:
  • Ability to work in an office or hybrid environment.
  • Ability to work on a computer for extended periods.
  • Strong hand/finger dexterity for computer tasks.
  • Ability to occasionally lift/move up to 20 pounds.
  • May require occasional travel for training or meetings.


Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field. Relevant experience can be considered as a substitute for the required educational qualifications. In the absence of a degree, a minimum of 4 years of related experience is required.
