What You'll Do
- Design, structure, and implement a comprehensive compliance program, including policies, procedures, and controls to meet federal, state, and industry regulations
- Conduct regular internal audits of processes to identify gaps, ensure accuracy, and recommend improvements for efficiency and risk reduction
- Develop and deliver training programs for claims and policy services teams, including workshops, e-learning modules, and ongoing education on compliance best practices
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as legal, operations, and IT to integrate compliance into daily workflows and address issues proactively
- Monitor regulatory changes in the insurance landscape and update the compliance framework, including reporting key metrics to senior leadership
- Lead investigations into compliance-related incidents and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement by analyzing audit findings and training feedback to refine program effectiveness
What You'll Bring
- Degree in Business, Risk Management, or a related field, or equivalent experience
- 10+ years of relevant experience in the insurance industry, with a proven track record in program development, audits, and training
- In-depth knowledge of insurance regulations, claims handling, policy servicing, and compliance frameworks
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex regulations and translate them into actionable strategies
- Excellent organization, communication, and training facilitation skills
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, innovative setting with a proactive mindset for problem-solving
- Familiarity with data analytics or AI-driven tools for compliance monitoring is advantageous
