Who we are and what we do:

This classification will design the technical infrastructure for deploying AI tools and agents securely, scalably, and efficiently across Tennessee's enterprise IT ecosystem. This role will design AI integration and implement AI tools statewide. This role will also collaborate with multiple teams, agencies and drive efficiencies across the enterprise.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Develop technical architectures for model pipelines, APIs, and agent orchestration.

2. Design AI integration with state applications, cloud environments (Azure, AWS), and existing data platforms.

3. Select and implement tools for MLOps, vector databases, model monitoring, and governance.

4. Establish reusable architecture patterns for multi-agency use.

5. Provide technical leadership for experimentation in the AI Innovation Lab.

6. Collaborate closely with cybersecurity, privacy, and infrastructure teams.

Minimum Qualifications:

5-7+ years in architecture, cloud, or enterprise software design. Experience building ML platforms or agent-based systems.
