The Ohio Colleges of Medicine Government Resource Center (GRC) invites applications for a Reporting and Analytics Senior Analyst position. The GRC engages in applied health services and population health research in a project-based team setting.This position functions as a member of Instrumental Data, a division of GRCs research section that specializes in health quality measure design and production, health-related administrative data analytics, and linkage methodology. Responsibilities for the position are project-specific and may include combinations of the following: assists with or leads data processing, data analysis, and measure construction using Medicaid administrative data or electronic health record (EHR); presents results to project sponsors; conducts literature searches and reviews; and composes reports, methodology documents, whitepapers, and presentation materials. A Reporting and Analytics Senior Analyst is expected to perform mainly technical tasks, but may also contribute toprojectleadershipand administration. They are expected to complete work independently on tasks with moderate complexity while assisting or completing advanced complexity tasks with appropriate assistance and oversight. They are expected to have excellent communication skills to support consensus building, serving as an informal resource for less experienced colleagues, and communicating technical information to non-technical audiences. A Reporting and Analytics Analyst 3 typically works on 3-5projects at a time and has significant project responsibilities. Minimum Education Required: Bachelors degree or equivalent. Required Qualifications: A minimum of 4 years of relevant experience with a bachelor's degree, or 2 years of relevant experience with an advanced degree is required. Demonstrable experience with SQL, SAS, or R for data preparation and analysis is required. Some experience working in relational databases is required. Successful completion of a background check is required. Additional Desired Qualifications: An advanced degree in a relevant field of study is preferred. Experience with SQL Server Management Studio is desirable. Experience using version control software such as GIT is desirable. Experience in applied health services or population health research is desirable.
