Staffing and Talent Acquisition Manager

Location: Hybrid (Massachusetts or Minnesota)

Schedule: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM

Job Type: Full-Time

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Staffing & Talent Acquisition Manager to lead end-to-end hiring strategies for hourly, clerical/technical, and exempt (professional) employees within a regulated manufacturing environment. This role oversees direct labor staffing, vendor management, sourcing strategies, and compliance, while serving as the primary liaison between site leadership, corporate staffing teams, and external partners.

The ideal candidate brings a strong background in manufacturing recruitment, workforce planning, and compliance-driven hiring practices.

Key Responsibilities

Staffing Strategy & Leadership



  • Lead all hiring activities for hourly, clerical/technical, and exempt roles
  • Serve as the primary site interface with the Corporate Staffing Organization
  • Ensure full utilization and compliance with corporate hiring programs and tools (e.g., job advertising platforms, applicant tracking systems, background checks, reference verification)
  • Manage and optimize vendor partnerships supporting direct labor staffing


Direct Labor Hiring



  • Provide leadership across the full hiring lifecycle, including:

    • Sourcing through job fairs, advertising, postings, and community outreach
    • Interviewing, testing, reference checks, and offer management


  • Partner closely with manufacturing leadership to meet workforce demands
  • Oversee specialty hiring programs such as:

    • Employee referral programs
    • Summer employment programs
    • Sign-on bonus initiatives


  • Ensure accurate EEO and Affirmative Action tracking in collaboration with HR
  • Manage hiring-related administrative documentation and reporting


Clerical, Technical & Exempt Hiring



  • Lead recruitment strategies for professional and technical roles
  • Partner with internal and external recruiters as needed
  • Manage testing, reference checking, and offer processes
  • Support college and high school recruitment programs
  • Ensure compliance with EEO and Affirmative Action requirements
  • Maintain accurate hiring documentation and metrics


Compliance & Regulatory Oversight



  • Ensure hiring practices comply with all applicable regulatory and legal requirements, including but not limited to:

    • Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) and Affirmative Action
    • Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA)
    • Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA)
    • Unemployment Insurance
    • OSHA and Environmental, Health & Safety standards
    • FDA Quality System Regulations (QSR)
    • ISO 13485 and global regulatory standards (as applicable)


  • Build quality into all staffing processes by maintaining alignment with Quality System requirements



Qualifications



  • Bachelor's degree required; MBA preferred
  • 3-5 years of experience with a Bachelor's degree
  • or 1-3 years of experience with an MBA
  • Strong preference for 5+ years of staffing or talent acquisition experience, including:

    • Direct labor (hourly) hiring
    • Professional and technical recruitment
    • Manufacturing or regulated industry environments


  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proven ability to work effectively with all levels of the organization
  • Strong decision-making, problem-solving, and organizational skills
