Human Resource Business Partner II



REPORTS TO:


Human Resource Manager



PURPOSE OF POSITION:



The Human Resource Business Partner II is responsible for administering compensation and benefit plans. Assisting in talent acquisition and recruitment processes. Conducting employee onboarding and help plan training & development.



RESPONSIBILITIES




  • Serve as payroll processor and become familiar with Dayforce HRIS system.
  • Administer the various benefit programs and address employee/applicant inquires. Conduct employee wellness programs.
  • Process and manage employee offboarding and COBRA notification. Maintain understanding of related regulations such as ERISA, HIPPA, and COBRA., etc. Maintain sensitive employee benefit information in an accurate and private manner.
  • Assist in the development and delivery of training programs. Maintain HRIS system and accurate auditable records. Maintain policies & procedures. Assist in the implementation of HR process improvements to better serve employees and support division. Perform special projects as assigned.
  • Provide support for Human Resource Manager, including but not limited to employee relations, staffing and talent development, benefits/payroll administration and employee engagement.
  • Serve as a point of contact for HR topics, questions and issues for all employees and managers.
  • Maintain all HR systems and files with timely and accurate updates. Develop and maintain the facility employee personnel files, I-9 documentation, continual education supports, training records, etc.
  • Document and track procedures for on-the-job training.
  • Maintain knowledge of local, state, and federal labor and wage laws.
  • Performs other duties as required or assigned.



QUALIFICATIONS:




  • Bachelor's degree required from an accredited college/university
  • Minimum 3 years of human resources work experience (may include internship experience)
  • Some knowledge of the general technical field of human resources and human resources practices
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a team environment
  • Require fluent verbal and written communication skills, good problem solving and organizational skills.
