SALARY/COMMISSIONS RANGE:$45 - $55K

Education and Experience:

Minimum 2-year,degree intrades, construction,agriculture, marketing, or other business and/or at least 2years'sales experience is preferred.

Job Summary:

This individualrepresentsand sells the product lines of overhead doors, decks,fencingand covered buildings.TheSouth CentralStructures and Doorssalespersonis responsible forpreparing quotes andmaintainingall quote documentation withaccuratepricing andconfigurations.This individualis responsible forgeneratingprofitable sales to targeted customers and prospects. Assists inday-to-dayoperations as needed including but not limitedto;billing, receiving, mail, purchasing, scheduling jobs on a daily basis and dispatching work crews.

Essential Functions (other duties may be assigned):

  1. Prospecting
  1. With theassistanceof the manager, developtargetmarket prospect list.
  1. Make sales calls on any specific leads provided by others.
  1. Develop a target market list of customers.
  1. Along with the Manager, develop and implementmarketingplans including marketing communications, strategic plans, and target budgets, etc.
  1. Conducting Sales Interviews
  1. Develop strategies andobjectiveson targeted accounts.
  1. Develop and implement a schedule to make sales calls on prospects and patrons on a regular basis.
  1. Make appointments with prospects and patrons so as to maximize efficiency and not inconvenience potential customers.
  1. Quoting
  1. Provideaccurate,detailed customer quotes that align with customer needs.
  1. Provide realistic timelines and ensure continued customer communication until the job is installed and complete.
  1. Provides value-added products, services, and recommendations to patrons and prospects.
  1. Handling Complaints
  1. Call oncustomersimmediatelywhen a complaintoneither product or services occurs. (within 48 hours)
  1. Administering Credit
  1. Make certain that each customer and prospective customerunderstandstheSouth CentralFS Credit Policy.
  1. Work with the Credit Administrator, other salespeople,and withfinancial institution personnel to help the customerto keephis/her account current.
  1. Ensures the credit worthiness of customers, quotes prices and credit terms, and prepares sales contracts for orders obtained.Works closely with the credit department in collection of accounts receivable.
  1. Other Duties
  1. Cooperate with other FS salespeople in the area so as to portray a professional image to the public.
  1. Maintain up-to-date awareness of vendor's activities and changes.
  1. Successfully adhere to safety rules and company policies and procedures.EHS, OSHA and DOT policies and procedures must be adhered to at all times.
  1. Attends all required meetings and training programs.

5. Ability to work extended hoursrequiredto get the job done.

6. All other duties asrequired.

Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, location, and other factors permitted by law. In addition to base pay, certain roles may be eligible for bonuses, incentives, and commissions.
