D&S Manufacturing is looking to expand their Weld Department at Black River Falls, WI.

2nd Shift/Full-Time: Monday through Thursday - 3:15 pm to 1:15 am

Weekend Shift/Full-Time: Friday through Sunday - 5:00am to 5:30 pm, get paid for 40.0 hours


With experience, make up to $27.45 per hour plus $2.00 shift differential for working 2nd or weekend shift.


Summary


  • Performs multiple tasks within a robotic welding cell on repetitive weldments following prescribed procedures.


Essential duties and Responsibilities include the following:


  • Within defined welding procedure specification (WPS) ranges, adjust and regulate manual welding machines to obtain best possible penetration, fill, weld quality and performance, making adjustments to allow for variation and conditions.
  • Requires use of limited technique and basic welding fundamentals and certification in GMAW.
  • Access robotic weld programs in computer and execute work order according to specifications.
  • Set up tooling as specified in robotic weld program and work order.
  • Set up peripheral equipment and consumables as specified in robotic weld program and work order.
  • Fit and position weldments having a number of parts using welding fixtures and jigs.
  • Use rule, square, protractor, templates and fixed gauges.
  • Work subject to process and final inspection and test.
  • Other duties may be assigned.


Qualifications and Education Requirements


  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED, HSED)
  • Six months related experience and/or training, preferred
  • Work experience or training which demonstrates knowledge of welding principles and techniques.
  • Work experience or training which demonstrates basic computer skills.
