| Primary Purpose of Organizational Unit |
The Department of Political Science resides within the College of Arts and Sciences. The Department of Political Science is the fourth largest undergraduate major in the College with more than 700 majors, a graduate program of approximately 80 students in residence and 44 tenure/tenure-track and fixed-term faculty. The Department of Political Science at

| Position Summary |
The primary purpose of this position is to provide to the Department's Chair and Business Officer the following services: maintain and report financial accounting data including but not limited to: account reconciliation; journal entries; management of invoices and expenditures; receipts and deposits and reporting for all sources of funding in the department. These accounts include funds from state, trust and sponsored research. This position will handle all Travel and Entertainment Cards and the Concur travel system. The position will manage property assets and
CCI computer inventory including the updates of departmental risk management insurance each year. The position will reconcile the departmental Pcard, Travel and serve as the parking coordinator liaising with the Parking Office. Other administrative duties will be required as needed. This position is a temporary, part-time position. |
