About the role:

We are looking for aProduct Manager IIIwho willbe responsible formanaging new,existing productsand operational supportforthePainStimfranchisewithin the Neuromodulationdivisionof Boston Scientific. This individualshouldhave well-developed skills in productmanagement,voice of customer, cross functionalcommunication, anddriventomeet deadlines in a fast-pacedanddynamic environment.The manager will need to develop an understanding of the current and future market dynamicsas well asthe competitive landscape.Additionally, the manager willidentifyany significant gaps in the portfolio and recommend internal development pathways or external partnerships to address those gaps.

This position involves close interaction with other Product Managers, R&D leaders, Manufacturing, Engineering, Operations, Service, Sales, Regulatory, Clinical, Marketing, and key customers globally.Responsibilities will includeday-to-day productmanagementsupporting new productdevelopment,launchand expansionactivitiesas well assupporting our global sustaining business portfolio. This individualserves as the product subject matter expert,representsthe "voice of the customer" and supports making data-driven decisionsacrossbothinternal and externalstakeholders.


Your responsibilities will include:



  • Developand executeglobal multi-year, integrated strategicproduct expansion launch roadmapsfor thePainStimbusinessportfolio,with primary focus on RFA





  • Lead day-to-day product operations with focus on international expansions andsustaining global products





  • Createbusiness cases and investment proposals for new products, preparing ROI analysesand schedules for new product launches





  • Lead"voiceof the customer" andrepresentbusiness needs for assigned products throughout the organization and with the cross-functional teams (R&D, QA, RA, Operations etc.)





  • Support the definition of the long-term strategy and roadmap for the relevant product lines as well as marketing strategy for the specific products includingcollaborating onclinical and economical evidence strategy, KOLstrategyandtrainingactivities





  • Creation and implementation of global product and clinical strategies designed to supportglobalgrowth and competitive advantage withinthemarket





  • Responsible for market analysis and competitors' landscape (including pricing, positioning, product offering and sales channels).





  • Interfacingwith key opinion leaders and HCP customers, patientcustomersand sales/economic buyer customers toidentifyareas of focus and prioritization;facilitatepipeline discussions





  • Support cross-functional teams (including Product Marketing, Global Supply Chain, Regulatory, Quality,ProjectManagement, Technical Communications, International Commercial teams, as well as with external vendor partners) to gain approval and launch





  • Collaborates with downstream marketing to drive innovative marketing solutions for new products,programsand tools to create value and support the needs of the Sales Team



Required qualifications:



  • Bachelor's degreerequired(life science, engineering,or related fieldpreferred)





  • 3+ years of successful related business experience






  • 2+ years prior Product Management experience, including strategic commercialization





  • Experience working in a highly regulated environment and familiaritywithmedical device, and/or pharmaceuticalindustry





  • Comfortable working in Excel withabilityto create andmaintainforecasts, templates, business cases, and project plans.





  • Occasional travel, up to20-30%,may berequired.





  • Ability to collaborate and work with others in a dynamic, matrix environment.





  • Strong interpersonal, communication, andwrittenskills.



Preferred qualifications:



  • Advanceddegree, or MBA





  • Medical device industry experience





  • Previousgloballaunch experience





  • Capital equipment and consumable experience.





  • Ability to engage and influence cross-functional colleagues





  • KOL engagement experience





  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to mobilize key stakeholders and engage leadership





Work Mode:

At Boston Scientific, we value collaboration and synergy. This role follows a hybrid work model requiring employees to be in our local office at least three days per week.

Maximum Salary: $186000

The anticipated compensation listed above and the value of core and optional employee benefits offered by Boston Scientific (BSC) - see www.bscbenefitsconnect.com-will vary based on actual location of the position and other pertinent factors considered in determining actual compensation for the role. Compensation will be commensurate with demonstrable level of experience and training, pertinent education including licensure and certifications, among other relevant business or organizational needs. At BSC, it is not typical for an individual to be hired near the bottom or top of the anticipated salary range listed above.

Compensation for non-exempt (hourly), non-sales roles may also include variable compensation from time to time (e.g., any overtime and shift differential) and annual bonus target (subject to plan eligibility and other requirements).

Compensation for exempt, non-sales roles may also include variable compensation, i.e., annual bonus target and long-term incentives (subject to plan eligibility and other requirements).
