Job Description

Job Summary:


As Senior Director, Microwave Conversion & Distribution you will have profit and loss responsibility for the line of business in the Advanced Microelectronic Centers based in Hudson, NH and West Caldwell, NJ. In this role you will have responsibility for managing the day-to-day business operations, executing on programs, building the organization to achieve the growth objectives and the annual operating plan. The position includes customer interactions in support of the Growth organization along with leading transformation efforts to drive efficiencies and scale the line of business. The successful candidate will transform the business while executing on near-term program commitments fostering a culture of teamwork, agility, and collaboration.



Job Responsibility:


* Own the P&L for a >$100m/yr revenue line of business


* Oversee the execution of program commitments through the interaction of engineering, program management, product management and operations


* Drive on-time delivery and margin expansion in the production and execution of program commitments


* Drive line of business growth through bid and proposal opportunities and sales activity support in collaboration with the division Growth team


* Serve as a visible and active leader representing the Microwave Conversion & Distribution line of business at Advanced Microelectronic Center based in Hudson, NH - periodic visits to West Caldwell, NJ facility should be an expected part of the role


* Participate in the investment prioritization process for future technical solutions to address the Conversion & Distribution markets and customer program needs


* Seamlessly collaborate with corporate Growth's teams to support the prioritization of product and technology development roadmaps in alignment with customer and market trends


* Identify business risks and opportunities and implement corrective actions, as needed


* Participate in M&A pursuits supporting the assessment and due diligence of potential acquisitions


* Implement consistent metrics analysis to drive continuous improvement and more informed decision making. Collaborate with IT to automate metrics collection.


* Management and development of the line of business team through hands-on goal setting and timely performance feedback


Required Capabilities/Experiences/Leadership Behaviors:



* BS in engineering or technical discipline or business leadership


* Minimum 12 years demonstrated experience in delivering solutions in the RF, Microwave and millimeter-wave Conversion & Distribution markets to customers in Aerospace and Defense


* Demonstrated ability leading P&L organizations with clear accountability and responsibility for delivering bookings, revenue, EBITDA and cash targets.


* Extensive knowledge of wave Conversion & Distribution markets, differentiators, key industry prime contractors, and senior personnel, key government personnel


* General knowledge of high speed switch, high power switch, high power limiter and noise markets - Line of Business has product lines covering these technology areas


* Current on cutting edge technologies and advancements in conversion & distribution markets


* Experience in hybrid microelectronics business with focus on microwave products


* Experience in engineering, business development and operations


* Proven track record building diverse, high-performing teams


* Ability to communicate vision for growth and action plan to realize that vision


* Ability to manage, supervise, mentor and grow both on-site and remote staff members


* Proven track record demonstrating leadership capabilities with cross-functional teams


* Ability to work well in fast paced, high dynamic environment


* Outstanding organizational, communication, interpersonal and relationship building skills


* Ability to work well in a cross-functional, matrix management environment, can successfully lead teams without direct reporting relationship


* Ability to travel as needed ~10-20%


* Existing Secret level security clearance or ability to obtain and maintain, at minimum, Secret level security clearance

Pay Grade Range
Fulltime Equivalent Job Grade Salary Range for this position
"* $166,600.00 - $299,900.00 annual salary for in-office or hybrid employees in FL, GA, IN, AZ, AL, MD or TX, and all remote employees
* $186,600.00 - $335,900.00 annual salary for in-office or hybrid employees in VA, CA, NH or MA
* $196,600.00 - $353,900.00 annual salary for in-office or hybrid employees in NJ"
