Truck & Trailer Experience Required

Mon-Fri Day Shift

UP TO $30 PER HOUR!

Our team is currently looking for a Field Service - Mobile Diesel Technician based at our customer's location (use of Service Truck included) to keep up our level of commitment to safety and customer service. In this role, technician performs truck and trailer repair and maintenance work in accordance with factory and industry standards, run diagnostics on vehicles and work closely with other team members to meet company goals. This is a great opportunity for a knowledgeable Technician to apply his or her skills in a company that offers a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits.

What are the Duties?

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Truck and Trailer Repair Experience Required
  • Service and repair work, drive train, steering, electrical, suspension and brakes
  • Troubleshooting and inspections
  • Good computer and verbal communication skills
  • Based at customer's location
  • Must be able to work independently
  • Use of Service Truck included
  • Must be able to work outside in all weather conditions

PHYSICAL and SAFETY REQUIREMENTS

  • While performing the duties of this job, the associate will be required to move frequently, stand, walk, and sit.
  • The associate is frequently required to use hands to touch, handle, and feel, and reach with hands and arms.
  • The associate must be able to regularly lift and/or move up to 50lbs and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100lbs with assistance.
  • Implement and enforce Health and Safety rules, regulations, policies, procedures, and prescribed instructions.
  • Must be able to obtain DOT medcard
  • The associate must be able to read and write reports.

Experience / Education

  • Prefer Tech School Diesel Program completion
  • Truck & Trailer repair experience required
  • Welding experience preferred
  • Air brake Experience required
  • Must be willing to work outside

Certifications / Licenses

  • Valid State Driver's License required, CDL is preferred
