The Professional Services Assistant Manager is responsible for ensuring accurate and on-time execution of all on-field programs across events and leagues. By delivering exceptional account management, this role partners closely with league representatives and equipment managers to drive seamless program delivery and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Manage relationships with equipment managers by frequently interacting with, and communicating directly to ensure requests, issues and concerns are being prioritized, addressed and resolved in a timely manner
  • Predict, diagnose and problem solve using process improvement skills and root cause analysis to exceed expected job requirements with mature judgment
  • Manage all orders from creation to delivery which includes but not limited to programs, stock, cap machine, etc.
  • Serve as primary contact for B2B Team to ensure all pertinent programs are launched accurately and in a timely fashion
  • Collaborate effectively across all internal functions to ensure timely and accurate delivery across entire order demand. Assess and resolve any issue(s) that prevent orders from meeting league on field demand
  • Provide accurate, timely response to Equipment Manager's inquiries such as order status, tracking, etc.
  • Provide support functions essential to assigned leagues/equipment managers, including but not limited to:
    1. Assist in product launch emails including hot market
    2. Generate ROAL Material IDs & support GCP order process (ROAL / GCP Worksheets) in addition to Job Tracker responsibilities
    3. Communicate and manage league team allotments - per individual league agreements, manage and reconcile each team's credit allotment for product
  • Lead continuous improvement projects as assigned to enhance customer experience and improve business initiatives by creating and implementing action plans to address service issues related to assigned equipment managers
  • Lead cross-training within department to ensure liaison/backup as necessary
  • Coordinate and manage all marketing materials and product needed for league and owner meetings
  • Provide regular and ad hoc reports through SAP/BI on a regular basis
  • Keep all sensitive matters confidential
  • Other duties as assigned

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Strong computer skills; Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint and the ability to learn and utilize new systems
  • Ability to establish relationships and interact with various levels within the organization
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines and efficiently prioritize workday to maximize productivity
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively and professionally
  • Enthusiastic, proactive, and positive person who adapts to change and with urgency and persistence
  • Ability to be innovative and creative when handling difficult business challenges
  • Build and maintain relationships with external stakeholders
  • Must be punctual and possess a strong work ethic
  • Previous experience with SAP preferred
  • Ability to work with minimum supervision and independently prioritize work without missing critical deadlines
  • Ability to assist with implementation of strategic initiatives
  • Knowledge of basic business principles and financial principles
  • Ability to anticipate, diagnose and problem-solve using process improvement skills and root cause analysis to exceed expected job requirements with mature judgment
  • Ability to evaluate and understand supply chain operations to effectively manage change
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 10 lbs

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field preferred; relevant job experience in lieu of degree will be considered
  • Three (3) to five (5) years of experience in account management or customer service in a consumer product based environment

Travel Requirement

  • 5% - 10%; domestic and/or global

The salary range for this posted position is $60,000 - $70,000 (plus bonus & benefits) and pertains to candidates located in Western New York. Actual compensation will fall within this range and is determined by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, education, essential job duties and requirements, and necessary experience.
