Leads CT technologists and support staff in CT imaging services and associated patient care which support the Radiology Department mission to provide diagnostic information for the subsequent treatment of patients. Ensures quality of CT imaging services provided and coordinates the daily operations.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: EDUCATION, CERTIFICATION, AND/OR LICENSURE: 1. Radiography certification with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) or Nuclear Medicine Technologist through the Nuclear Medicine Technologist Certification Board (NMTCB). WV: Radiography License OR Nuclear Medicine and Diagnostic CT License through the West Virginia Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy Technology Board. PA: No state license requirement 3. Computed Tomography certification through the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB). 4. Obtain Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification within 30 days of hire.
