Your Responsibilities:
- Make adjustments toensure proper machine function andperformsminor maintenance such as TPM (Total Preventative Maintenance) and tooling setup on machine asrequired.
- Utilize andmanagesNight-Train inventory storage and retrieval system.
- OperateToolsUSsoftware/programs and is able to adjusttoolingaccording to specific parameters.
- Effective use of computer to manageup timesheets, run schedules and other software related tasks to organize andmaintainproduction standards.
- Set up andmaintainink jet printer to ensure proper part identification.
- Set up andoperatepanel benderin accordance withoutlined methods and procedures to form various parts safely and properly.
- Ensure parts are positioned properly to produce parts that conform with engineering drawings.
- Observe machine operation to detect work piece defects or machine malfunction.
- Measure work piece dimensions todetermineaccuracy of machine operation.
- Adjuston machineand programs asrequired; remove burrs, sharp edges, rust, orscalefrom workpiecetocomply withquality standards.
- Stack, mark, and transport finished parts tomaintainproper workflow.
- Responsible formaintainingthe 5s program forworkarea.
- Ability to use measuring equipment such as tape measure, caliper, etc.
- Train new members on the various machines, procedures, safe work practices and any pertinent itemsregardingsafety,qualityand production.
- Responsible formaintainingthe 5s program to ensure a clean work area.
- Follow and understandHOMESafe, Personal Choice andcompany safety manualrequirements.
- Identifyand rework defective work pieces tocomply withquality standards.
- Read and interpretblue prints, sketches or product specifications todeterminesequence and methods of fabricating,assemblingand installing sheet metal products, including machine adjustments and material requirements per engineering requirements.
- Ability to use hand tools.
- Operate PIT (Powered IndustrialTrucks),obtain PIT License.
- All other duties as assigned
Your Qualifications:
- The ability to lift, push, and/or pull materials, stand for majority of the shift, and work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment while maintaining proper PPE.
- The ability to use hand tools for extended periods of time.
- The ability to read and understand written English.
- High School Education/GED OR Minimum 2 years of related experience in a manufacturing/production environment.
