Requisition ID: 76861 Job Description: Description The Temporary Accountant position will support the general ledger team. The Accountant will primarily be responsible for accounting for cash and performing routine accounting tasks requiring a basic understanding of accounting principles. This position reports to the General Ledger Manager and is located in Irvine, California. This is not a remote position. Responsibilities Preview and record daily cash transactions to the appropriate general ledger accounts Research and recommend solutions to resolve open bank items Own the month-end close process for cash and investments Assist the Fixed Asset and Payroll teams with General Accounting related tasks such as posting journal entries and preparing rollforwards and reconciliations Prepare and file sales and use tax returns Effectively partner with the Treasury and Accounts Payable functions Perform various SAP uploads related to purchasing and travel cards Manage the recurring entry and reversing journal entry processes in SAP Participate in ad hoc analysis and special projects as necessary Required Experience and Skills Position requires a bachelor's degree and minimal experience Skyworks is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
