Job DescriptionThe McWane corporate office is seeking highly organized leader to help move the company forward.The Director of IT operations is a senior-level position that oversees the global helpdesk, application development, corporate office support, budget, service now, Change Management, mergers and acquisitions, and cloud governance. This postition will be based at our corporate headquarters in Birmingham, Alabama. Essential Functions:
Minimum Education Required:Bachelor's degree in a technical IT degree, plus related experience (infrastructure, network engineering, network administration, programming, network architecture, etc.) is preferred; OR an equivalent combination of related education and/or experience is required. Minimum Experience Required:At least 10 years of experience in IT management, preferably in a large and complex organization. Minimum Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:Looking for a very organized leader to help move the company forward. Computer expert. Proficient with computer tools, online reporting software and computer programs (Microsoft Office Suite). Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, government regulations and company policies and procedure manuals. Ability to work with a diverse group of people and encourage and motivate people to take ownership and pride in their work. Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid, unbiased conclusions. Ability to interpret a variety of technical instructions furnished in written, oral, mathematical, diagram or schedule form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables. Ability to work in a fast-paced, lean, global environment supporting multiple industries. Excellent problem-solving skills and must think strategically. Professional certifications such as ITIL, PMP, MCSE, CCNA, PMI, CCNP, MCITP, SOC, CISSP, or CSI are not required, but preferred.
