This position requires an active Secret clearance or the ability to obtain a Secret clearance to be considered.

A government contract requires that this position be restricted to U.S. citizens or legal permanent residents. You must provide documentation that you are a U.S. citizen or legal permanent resident to qualify.

Position supports project teams and communicates project status to other team members and customers, while working to keep the project on schedule and on budget.

Compensation & Benefits:
Estimated Salary Range for Project Manager II: Pay commensurate with experience.

Project Manager II Responsibilities Include:

• Provides planning support to project teams, to ensure that projects are well-planned and have a high probability of being executed on-schedule and on-budget.

• Maintains institutional awareness of the project schedule and proactively identifying and mitigating risks.

• Coordinates and communicates the status of the project with project team members and customers, as needed, using enterprise collaboration tools and portals.

• Performs other job-related duties as assigned

Project Manager II Experience, Education, Skills, Abilities requested:

• Bachelor of Science and 5-7 years of related experience. Sufficient education and experience to understand the science to be able to facilitate planning and execution of the project.

• Familiarity with biocontainment procedures and BSAT regulations helpful.

• Excellent written and oral communication skills.

• Must be a US citizen.

• Must pass pre-employment qualifications of Cherokee Federal
