Paralegal Washington, DC Pay From: $30 per hour MUST: 3+ years of paralegal or legal assistant experience, preferably in medical malpractice or personal injury law. Nursing background or clinical experience (Registered Nurse, Licensed Practical Nurse, or similar) is preferred but not required. Strong written and verbal communication skills. High attention to detail and excellent organizational skills. Proficiency in office software and legal case management systems. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. DUTIES: Obtain, organize, review, and summarize medical records and other relevant documentation. Draft medical chronologies and case summaries. Assist in identifying and coordinating with expert witnesses. Maintain case calendars, schedule appointments, and manage deadlines. Support attorneys in trial preparation, including document preparation, evidence tracking, and legal research. Conduct factual research and compile supporting information to strengthen legal arguments. Perform other administrative and case-related duties as needed.
