What to Expect
The Failure Analysis Team's mission is todetermineroot cause and contributing factors to improve the experience of Tesla's products by reducing field issues, in collaboration with a large community of other engineering teams. Engineers and technicians on the teamare responsible fora wide variety of vehicle products for existing models and models in development.This role requires hands-on work focused on keepingarea'sorganized andhelping team members out with any help when the time comes. This role is a start foran engineeringtechniciancareer in our team.
We areseekingan enthusiastic, highly motivated individual whoknows how tooperateaforklift(ForkliftCertification is a plus). Whoalso isopen tolearningabout the products we work on, and willing to work in a fast pacedenvironment.Below are the essential duties and responsibilitieswerequire forthe new role to take on.
What You'll Do
Operate a forklift Loading and offloading semi-trucks and organizing inventory Maintain inventory integrity and repair history through diligent record keeping and adherence to process Collect product data and update andmaintainelectronic records Perform basic intake procedures on parts returned from the field Identifydiscrepant materials and it's components, both verbally and in writing tosupervisorand engineers Complete tasks within standard times, as directed by your supervisor andperestablished schedules Maintain a clean and orderly work area. Suggest enhancements to process and departmentlayout andhelp implement once approved Sort variety of mixed scrap materialwith like material. (Need to understand metal identification) Ability to recognize hazardous material and monitor scrap material containers. Replace asrequired.Weigh scrap material, and properly complete all required documents (bill of lading, weigh tickets).Prepare and package scrap material for shipment
What You'll Bring
Forklift experience highly preferred Ability to work effectively and efficiently under pressure Associate's or technical degree preferred Proficient with hand tools and computer based tools Ability to read and understand manufacturing instructions Good command of the English language, both written and verbal Proficient with computer tools, including Word, Excel, and Outlook Must be reliable, innovative, committed,a selfstarter, and quality focused Ability to perform repetitious duties while standing forlong periods Ability to lift 30-50lbs.

Expected Compensation
$24.40 - $50.40/hour + cash and stock awards + benefits
Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered.
