Physician - OBGYN with Mercy in Pittsburg, KS (SE Kansas)

Mercy Clinic Pittsburg is seeking a Board Eligible/Board Certified Obstetrician-Gynecologist to join our well-established Women's Health Clinic in Pittsburg, Kansas. This is an exceptional opportunity to practice in a physician-led, patient-focused organization recognized for quality care and outstanding patient satisfaction.

Practice Highlights

• Join a collaborative team of 2 experienced OB/GYN physicians, 1 newly-trained OBGYN (starts Jan. 2027) and 2 APRNs
• 1:4 call schedule with coverage for one hospital only
• Position available due to practice growth - quick ramp-up expected
• Averaging about 500 births annually
• Women's Center located on the hospital's 3rd floor featuring:
  • 5 labor rooms, 2 triage rooms, 1 C-section OR, 1 recovery room
  • 13 postpartum/GYN rooms
  • Level II Specialty Nursery with isolation nursery and exam room
• Da Vinci Robot available for minimally invasive procedures
• Teaching affiliation with Kansas City University - opportunity to precept medical students with stipend
• System-wide EPIC EMR and Dragon (available July 2025)

• 12-bed ICU with 24/7 telehealth monitoring and 6-bed step-down unit
• Level III Trauma Center and Emergent Stroke Ready designation

• 40,000 sq. ft. Surgical Center with 6 ORs + dedicated C-section suite
• Anesthesia team: 1 anesthesiologist + 5 CRNAs

Compensation & Benefits

• Guaranteed salary: $400,000 for 1 year
• $50,000 recruitment incentives + up to $20,000 relocation assistance
