Medica is seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Recruiter to support fullcycle recruitment across the organization, with a primary focus on the Markets division-including Product, Sales, Strategy, and Market Leadership-while also maintaining flexibility to support additional business areas as needs evolve. This individual will play a critical role in identifying, assessing, and securing top-tier talent while serving as a strategic consultant to business leaders. The ideal candidate will bring a deep understanding of industry trends, a passion for relationship-building, and a commitment to excellence in candidate experience. Performs other duties as assigned.

Key Accountabilities



  • Lead full-cycle recruitment from intake to offer, ensuring seamless, consistent, and high-quality experience for candidates and hiring leaders across Markets, Product, Sales, and broader enterprise functions
  • Partner with leaders to understand workforce needs, build effective hiring strategies, and ensure alignment with organizational goals and future talent needs.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor, offering insights on labor market trends, competitive intelligence, and best practices to guide hiring decisions
  • Conduct comprehensive candidate assessments and deliver clear, actionable recommendations
  • Collaborate closely with HR Business Partners, Compensation, Coordination, Position Management, and other key teams to support enterprise-wide talent strategies and ensure alignment throughout the hiring process
  • Maintain strong relationships across the organization to anticipate needs and support workforce planning efforts
  • Build and nurture talent pipelines through proactive sourcing, networking, and engagement with external organizations, industry groups, and academic partners
  • Champion inclusive hiring practices, ensuring equitable candidate experiences and outcomes
  • Utilize data, dashboards, and recruitment analytics to track performance, inform decision-making, and identify opportunities for process improvement
  • Stay informed of evolving talent acquisition trends and emerging best practices to continuously enhance recruitment effectiveness



Qualifications:



  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience
  • 5+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience; experience in corporate recruiting required



Skills and Abilities:



  • Healthcare experience helpful, however not required
  • Demonstrated knowledge of employment law and hiring practices
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with shifting priorities
  • Ability to work in unfamiliar or ambiguous situations, assessing, researching, analyzing, and developing solutions
  • Ability to successfully learn and apply a compensation strategy that aligns with business goals
  • Passion for innovation, continuous learning, and staying ahead of industry trends
  • Proven ability to assess talent and influence hiring decisions at all levels of the organization
  • Strong knowledge of applicant tracking systems (ATS), sourcing tools, and recruitment analytics



This position is an Office role, which requires an employee to work onsite at our Minnetonka, MN office, on average, 3 days per week.

The full salary grade for this position is $78,700 - $134,900. While the full salary grade is provided, the typical hiring salary range for this role is expected to be between $78,700 - $118,020. Annual salary range placement will depend on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, education, work experience, applicable certifications and/or licensure, the position's scope and responsibility, internal pay equity and external market salary data. In addition to base compensation, this position may be eligible for incentive plan compensation in addition to base salary.
