Role location: Jacksonville, FL

Hybrid (three days in-office, two days virtual)

About the team:

Our Professional Services team is responsible for delivering client-facing implementation, onboarding, and consulting services across business units. Our mission is to ensure seamless solution deployment, optimize client operations, and provide strategic guidance. Our team is a critical client-facing function.

About the role:

The Project Manager within Professional Services is responsible for the successful delivery of client-facing projects, ensuring adherence to scope, schedule, budget, and quality standards. This role serves as the primary liaison between clients and internal teams, driving governance, financial accountability, and operational excellence across complex engagements.

What you will be doing:

  • Own day to day management of all aspects of project delivery, including planning, scheduling, and execution
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and internal stakeholders
  • Work with product development, sales, client relationship teams, technology solutions, service delivery and/or other cross-functional teams
  • Manage project risk and assisting with problem resolution
  • Manage project budgets, forecasts, and financial accountability in collaboration with PMO resources
  • Provide clear, timely updates on project status, scope changes, and deliverables
  • Utilize project management tools such as Planview and MS Project
  • Some travel will be involved

What you will need:

  • Extensive knowledge of project management standards, processes, procedures and guidelines as well as various IT project methodologies and life cycles
  • Advanced skills with project management software including MS Project and Planview
  • A bachelor's in computer science, management information systems or business administration or the equivalent experience
  • Externally client-facing experience is required. Non-technical project management experience is required
  • Experience supporting multiple projects simultaneously
  • Strong verbal and communication skills with the ability to work in a fast-paced matrixed organization

Added bonus if you have:

  • PMP (Project Management Professional), Scrum or Agile certification is nice to have

FIS is committed to providing its employees with an exciting career opportunity and competitive compensation. The pay range for this full-time position is $90,640.00 - $152,260.00 and reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for this position based on the posted role, level, and location. Within the range, actual individual starting pay is determined by additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Any changes in work location will also impact actual individual starting pay. Please consult with your recruiter about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process.
