Position Summary

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Talent Acquisition Sourcer to support hiring efforts across contracts based out of Hanscom AFB. In this role, you will play a critical part in building and maintaining pipelines of highly qualified talent, engaging both active and passive candidates, and partnering closely with recruiters and hiring managers to meet key staffing needs.

As the first point of contact for many candidates, you will represent our employer brand, deliver an excellent candidate experience, and help attract a diverse pool of talent in support of our mission-driven work.



Responsibilities

Duties include, but not limited to:

Sourcing & Outreach

    Develop and implement creative sourcing strategies using LinkedIn, job boards, referrals, military networks, and professional associations.

  • Proactively identify and engage both passive and active candidates through personalized outreach.

  • Map markets and research talent pools aligned to DoD and Hanscom AFB contract requirements.

Pipeline Development & Candidate Engagement
  • Build and maintain pipelines for current and future hiring needs.

  • Screen resumes and candidate profiles to assess alignment with labor category requirements, including education and years of experience.

  • Maintain ongoing communication with candidates to foster long-term relationships.

Collaboration & Strategy
  • Partner with recruiters and hiring managers to align sourcing strategies with business priorities.

  • Support recruiters by providing qualified, well-vetted candidate pipelines that reduce downstream rework.
  • Share market insights, competitor intelligence, and talent availability data.

  • Promote the employer brand across professional and defense-related networks.

Data & Process
  • Maintain accurate, well-documented candidate records in the ATS, ensuring sourcing activity supports audit readiness and compliance.

  • Track, analyze, and report sourcing metrics with a focus on quality, alignment to labor categories, and pipeline sustainability.

  • Continuously refine sourcing approaches to improve efficiency and candidate experience.



Qualifications

Citizenship: Must be a US citizen

Minimum Required Qualifications

Education: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field

Years of Experience: At least four years of experience in a recruitment and/or Talent Acquisition role

Preferred Qualifications

Certifications: AIRS certifications preferred

  • Experience supporting DoD or defense-related hiring is preferred

Technical Skills

  • Proven experience in talent sourcing, recruitment, or research, preferably within regulated or compliance-driven environments.

  • Strong research and analytical skills with the ability to assess hiring markets and evaluate candidate alignment to defined labor categories.

  • Hands-on experience with sourcing tools, Boolean search techniques, and professional networking platforms

  • Familiarity with ATS and candidate management systems; iCIMS preferred

Interpersonal Skills

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to professionally engage candidates across diverse technical and functional backgrounds.

  • Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail.

  • Ability to collaborate effectively within a structured Talent Acquisition team supporting government customers.

Travel: 10%

Hybrid:

  • Remote may be considered for a highly qualified candidate

  • Hybrid schedule and onsite requirements will be determined based on team needs and collaboration requirements

  • May involve occasional evening or weekend work to meet recruitment goals and deadlines

Final compensation for this position will be determined by various factors such as the Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant work experience, specific skills and competencies, geographic location, education, and certifications.
