Job Summary
Job duties consist of data collection, analysis to assist quality engineer and management in assessing measures of performance. Evaluate Quality data collection systems and processes to determine whether these data collection processes adequately depict the quality of products and processes involving suppliers, manufacturing test and life cycle management. Ensures that quality control procedures adequately evaluate an organization's products. Determines if current methods and techniques result in meeting reliability standards or require modification. Support projects and processes that ensure continuously improving value to our customers and business units.
Job Responsibilities
- Plan and conduct audits and issues reports as a lead auditor and trains junior analysts to conduct internal audits
- Support the organizations external regulatory compliance audits (e.g. AS9100)
- Investigate internal/external audit-related findings and helps coordinate activities to resolve issues
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public
- Assist with root cause analysis investigations and corrective action development
- Support the administration of the Quality Management System Documentation and Record Control processes
- Collect, analyze, and report data to assist quality engineer and management in assessing measures of performance
- Evaluate quality data collection systems and processes to determine whether these data collection processes adequately depict the quality of products and processes involving suppliers, manufacturing test and life cycle management
- Support the organization with initial compliance and ongoing preparation, testing and monitoring of conformance to established quality assurance processes and standards for company products, services and processes
- Create organizational value by implementing innovative solutions and best practices involved in all processes of the product realization value stream
- Assist Quality Engineers with data mining, reporting and analysis
- Observe and identify process improvement opportunities to Quality Engineering
- Verify process control activities and reports deficiencies as appropriate
- Initiate quality alerts for potential process and product discrepancies that may affect performance
- Perform evaluation of internal controls, communications, risk assessments and maintenance of documentation as related to compliance with internal and external safety, quality, and regulatory standards
- Identify risk and evaluates deficiencies while working with internal departments/business units
- Support Quality Engineers in conducting Corrective Action Review Board activities
- Work with quality management and support staff to develop solutions to help manage variability
- Facilitates internal training on quality assurance requirements, processes, and procedures
- May prepare and present data in management-level presentations
- Support, communicate, reinforce and defend the mission, values and culture of the organization
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
- 5+ years relevent experience
- Previous regulatory compliance audit experience preferred (e.g. AS9100)
- In-depth knowledge of business information systems, quality management systems, and RCCA methodologies required
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public
- Works on problems of diverse scope where analysis of data requires evaluation of identifiable factors
- Demonstrates good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions
