Job Description The Object Storage Product Engineer manages, administers, and implements engineering best practices for Allstate's on premises S3 object storage infrastructure. This role encompasses contributing to detailed on-premises object storage infrastructure design as well as implementation, testing and coordination of operational maintenance associated with Allstate's S3 environment. The Object Storage Product engineer will be responsible for lifecycle management, as well as the development and deployment of new capabilities within the on-premises S3 infrastructures. Additionally, the Object Storage Product engineer will act as the SME (subject matter expert) for all internal client needs and S3 related infrastructure projects. The Object Storage Product Engineer will also be accountable for the certification, security, and implementation of new hardware, software, and capabilities for S3 related technologies.The internal Allstate job title used for this role is Infrastructure Solutions Engineer Lead Consultant.
