Technology Strategy Consulting. We help the C-suite make the right decisions based on how technology can transform their businesses. In today's world, a consulting firm that is "born digital", (with the ability to directly leverage the full power of Gartner's research and insights) has relevance to the most important strategic decisions any business will make. We deliver value to clients in areas such as IT Strategy Consulting, Benchmarking, Analytics and Optimization. Typically, this helps Gartner's clients to execute on their strategic priorities, across all sectors, including:

  • Digital Growth, Transformation & AI

  • Applications, Infrastructure and Security Modernization

  • Sourcing and Spent Optimization

What you will do:

Our Consulting Expert Partners are responsible for subject matter expertise, project delivery and oversight along with client relationship management. You will work with teams and advise clients at the highest strategic level on both big-picture and tactical matters, focusing on how technology and data enable a wide range of business outcomes.

What you will need:

Data & Analytics / AI / ML / Generative AI Capabilities such as:

  • Deep experience with Data, Analytics, AI and Automation Solutions / tools including understanding of various service providers and tools available in the marketplace

  • Deep technical / solution architecture experience deconstructing business problems into actions, addressing these with various technologies, specifically AI, ML and GAI.

  • Design effective, sustainable data, analytics and AI programs that include appropriate governance, operating models and technology architectures

  • Collaborate with clients to establish AI programs and processes for scaling delivery of AI solutions (e.g., MLOPs, ModelOps)

Management Consulting / Systems Integration experience:

  • Proven track record (10+ years of relevant project experience) in successfully selling, planning, implementing data & analytics projects.

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to think critically to tackle complex business problems.

  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical C-suite stakeholders.

  • Public Sector industry experience i.e., State & Local Government

Requirements:

  • AWS, Azure, Google, IBM or other cloud architect certification

  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or Java, and experience with AI/ML frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Scikit-learn.

  • Proficiency commercial/open-source data discovery/analysis platforms such as RStudio, Spark, KNIME, RapidMiner, Alteryx, Dataiku, H2O, SAS Enterprise Miner (SAS EM) and/or SAS Visual Data Mining and Machine Learning, Microsoft AzureML, IBM Watson Studio or SPSS Modeler, Amazon SageMaker, Google Cloud ML, SAP Predictive Analytics.

  • Proficiency in statistical and data mining techniques such as: generalized linear model (GLM)/regression, random forest, boosting, trees, text mining, hierarchical clustering, deep learning, convolutional neural network (CNN), recurrent neural network (RNN), T-distributed Stochastic Neighbor Embedding (t-SNE), graph analysis, etc].

  • Experience with data visualization tools and techniques to effectively communicate insights and findings.

  • Master's degree in computer science, Data Science, Information Technology, or equivalent practical experience.

Gartner believes in fair and equitable pay. A reasonable estimate of the base salary range for this role is 188,000 USD - 248,000 USD. Please note that actual salaries may vary within the range, or be above or below the range, based on factors including, but not limited to, education, training, experience, professional achievement, business need, and location. In addition to base salary, employees will participate in either an annual bonus plan based on company and individual performance, or a role-based, uncapped sales incentive plan. Our talent acquisition team will provide the specific opportunity on our bonus or incentive programs to eligible candidates.
