Job Description:

As a Semiconductor Engineering Intern at FormFactor, you will gain hands-on experience in a high-tech manufacturing environment and learn about the processes that power today's electronics. This is a great opportunity to apply what you've learned in school and gain real-world skills.

What You'll Do:

  • Collect & Analyze Data
    Run experiments, gather data, and share your observations to help improve processes.

  • Monitor Process Stability
    Assist with charts and tools that track how stable and consistent the manufacturing process is.

  • Support Equipment Health
    Help maintain systems that detect issues with machines and processes before they become problems. Support Equipment Engineers to execute tasks for Equipment Start up.

  • Document Processes
    Update instructions and process details so the team can work efficiently and accurately.

  • Work with Different Teams
    Collaborate with engineers and technicians in areas like equipment, facilities and production to solve problems and improve results.

  • Assist with Tool Setup
    Participate in installing and qualifying new equipment and learn about preventive maintenance.

  • Learn from Experts
    Work closely with experienced engineers who will guide and mentor you throughout your internship.

  • Gain exposure to various fab processing equipment.
    Help set up, and fine tune processes used in probe card manufacturing.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in areas such as Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, Mechanical Engineering, Physics, Chemical Engineering, Chemistry or related field

  • Interest in the Semiconductor Industry

  • Minimum Cumulative 3.0/4.0 GPA

  • Graduation December 2026 or May 2027

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Excellent verbal and written communication

  • Ability to collaborate across teams and functions

  • Effective time management and project delivery

  • Initiative and drive for results in a fast-paced environment
