Manager, Quality Assurance

About the Role:

As the Manager, Quality Assurance, you will play a key role in ensuring that our products or services meet the highest standards of quality and compliance. You will be responsible for leading a team of quality assurance professionals, developing and implementing quality assurance processes and procedures, and driving continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and customer satisfaction.

Essential Job Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the quality assurance team, including hiring, training, coaching, and performance management, to ensure the team meets its objectives and delivers high-quality results.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain quality assurance policies, procedures, and standards to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, industry standards, and customer specifications.
  • Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure and monitor the effectiveness of quality assurance activities and identify areas for improvement.
  • Conduct regular audits and inspections of processes, products, and systems to identify non-conformances, areas for improvement, and opportunities for optimization.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, engineering, supply chain, and customer service, to identify quality-related issues, implement corrective actions, and drive process improvements.
  • Ensure timely resolution of quality-related issues and customer complaints by conducting thorough investigations, root cause analyses, and implementing corrective and preventive actions.
  • Provide leadership and guidance on quality-related matters to internal stakeholders, including senior management, project teams, and other departments.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, best practices, and regulatory changes related to quality assurance and incorporate them into the organization's quality management systems.
  • Prepare and present quality-related reports, presentations, and recommendations to senior management and other stakeholders to support decision-making and drive quality improvements.
  • Foster a culture of quality excellence and continuous improvement throughout the organization by promoting awareness, accountability, and engagement at all levels.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, quality management, business administration, or a related field required; Master's degree or MBA preferred; or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in quality assurance, quality control, or related roles, with at least 2-3 years of experience in a leadership or management position.
  • Strong knowledge of quality management principles, methodologies, tools, and techniques, with experience in implementing and managing quality management systems (QMS).
  • Excellent leadership, communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Certified Quality Manager (CQM), Certified Quality Engineer (CQE), or other relevant quality-related certifications preferred.

The annual pay rate for this position is $70,000.00- $90,000.00; however, the base pay rate offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Bonus opportunities may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position offered
