Position Summary

The Director/ Senior Director of Sales for US Healthcare Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) is responsible for leading strategic sales initiatives to drive new business growth, expand market presence, and build strong relationships with healthcare provider organizations across USA. This role focuses on selling end-to-end RCM services and technology-enabled solutions to hospitals, physician groups, health systems, and specialty practices.

The ideal candidate has deep knowledge of the U.S. healthcare revenue cycle, strong consultative selling skills, and a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets within the healthcare revenue cycle management services and SaaS/tech-enabled RCM space.

Key Responsibilities

Sales Strategy & Execution

  • Develop, execute, and manage a strategic sales plan aligned with organizational growth goals in the RCM services market.
  • Prospect, identify, and qualify new business opportunities with provider organizations across Texas and national markets.
  • Manage the full sales cycle from lead generation through contracting and handoff to implementation.
  • Achieve or exceed quarterly and annual revenue targets.

Client Engagement & Relationship Management

  • Build and maintain strong executive-level relationships (CFO, COO, Revenue Cycle Leaders).
  • Conduct discovery sessions to assess client RCM needs and tailor value-based proposals.
  • Present RCM solutions-including coding, billing, AR follow-up, denial management, patient access, analytics, revenue integrity and technology-enabled workflows-to senior decision-makers.
  • Partner with internal subject matter experts to create customized RCM solutions for each client.

Market & Product Expertise

  • Maintain expert-level understanding of U.S. healthcare revenue cycle operations, reimbursement models, regulatory changes, and payer dynamics.
  • Stay informed on competitor products, industry trends, and emerging technologies impacting RCM.
  • Provide market intelligence and feedback to leadership to inform product development and service enhancements.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Collaborate with marketing on lead-generation initiatives, industry events, and sales collateral.
  • Work closely with operations, finance, and implementation teams to ensure smooth client onboarding and successful service delivery.
  • Participate in pricing discussions, contract negotiations, and scope-of-work development.

Reporting & Pipeline Management

  • Maintain an accurate sales pipeline and forecast through CRM tools.
  • Develop executive-level reports on sales performance, market trends, and strategic priorities

?"The pay range for this position starts at $110K annually; however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Bonus opportunities may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position offered."

(Payer or Provider), successful healthcare BD professionals typically possess:

  • Deep Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of the healthcare ecosystem, including payment models (fee-for-service vs. value-based care), regulatory landscape, and domain processes (claims, EHR, care management).
  • Negotiation Skills: Ability to handle complex contracts and pricing discussions.
  • Communication & Presentation Skills: Excellent ability to articulate value to high-level executives.
  • CRM Proficiency: Familiarity with tools like leveraged to manage pipeline and sales activity.
  • Goal Orientation: Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales and revenue targets.
