The Role
As a Senior ServiceNow Architect/Developer with Presidio, you will lead the design and development of advanced ServiceNow solutions, with a strong emphasis on backend portal architecture, integrations, and custom application development. This role will focus on building and enhancing the ServiceNow CMDB platform that automates end-user device provisioning and lifecycle workflows while incorporating AI-driven capabilities to improve efficiency, intelligence, and user experience.
The ideal candidate is highly technical, hands-on, and comfortable operating as both an architect and senior developer in a complex enterprise environment.

Travel Requirements:

This is a remote role located in the Continental US with anticipated travel up to 5%.

Responsibilities Include:



  • Architect, design, and develop scalable ServiceNow solutions with a strong focus on backend portal design, integrations, and custom applications
  • Lead development of end-user device automation workflows within an IT on Demand (ITOD) instance
  • Design and implement custom ServiceNow applications leveraging best practices for performance, maintainability, and security
  • Develop and maintain complex server-side scripts (Business Rules, Script Includes, Flow Designer, REST integrations)
  • Build and extend ServiceNow portal experiences, including AngularJS-based components where required
  • Design and manage integrations with external systems using REST, APIs, and middleware where applicable
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify opportunities to leverage AI and automation to reduce manual effort and improve operational efficiency
  • Contribute to solution architecture decisions, technical standards, and development best practices
  • Mentor junior developers and provide technical leadership across the platform


Required Skills and Professional Experience:



  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience and/or military experience preferred but not required
  • Over all 7 years of experience on the ServiceNow platform
  • 8+ years of hands-on ServiceNow development experience, with at least 3+ years in a senior or architect-level role
  • Deep expertise in server-side scripting (JavaScript, Script Includes, Business Rules, ACLs)
  • Strong experience with AngularJS and ServiceNow portal development
  • Proven experience designing and implementing ServiceNow integrations (REST, APIs, MID Server)
  • Advanced knowledge of custom application development on the ServiceNow platform
  • Minimum of 8 years with ServiceNow and end-user device lifecycle automation
  • Strong understanding of ServiceNow platform architecture and performance considerations
  • Ability to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions
  • Certified ServiceNow Application Developer required


Preferred Skills and Professional Experience:



  • Experience incorporating AI/ML concepts into enterprise automation solutions
  • Programming experience outside of ServiceNow, such as:

    • Python
    • C or .NET


  • Experience with Databricks or data engineering / analytics platforms
  • Familiarity with ServiceNow AI Search, Virtual Agent, Predictive Intelligence, or GenAI features
  • Prior experience in large-scale enterprise IT environments
