Team and Role

The Tax Department manages Equinix's global tax issues and income tax accounting for financial statement purposes, as well as tax compliance (filing) requirements. The xScale Direct Tax Team is responsible for the Corporate Income Tax ("CIT") and Withholding Tax reporting, accounting, and compliance for all xScale joint venture entities (17 countries). The intern role will support the Team over Summer 2026

Assignments and Responsibilities:

Supporting the coordination of:

• Preparing information for tax computations to external tax authorities

• Preparing quarterly tax provision packages, checking of tax payables with preparation of roll-forward schedules, calculation of deferred tax, etc.

• Preparing tax depreciation schedules

• Other adhoc tax related matters

Who You Are (Requirements and Qualifications):

• Must be currently enrolled inan accrediteduniversity/college, in your penultimate year of yourbachelor'sor master's degreestudies - Tax, Finance & Accounting, Economics students being preferred

• (Graduationbetween December 2026-September 2027)

• Available to work full-time for the entire duration of the Summer Internship Program (between June-August , depending on your school system)

• Ability to multi-task and workcollaboratively andeffectively in afast-pacedenvironment

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, business proficiency in English

• Ability to create accurate and punctual reports, deliver presentations, and share information and ideas with others

• Analytically driven and detail-oriented, with working knowledge of Microsoft Office Package (with a focus on Excel) and aptitude to learn new tools

• Good attitude and willingness to learn

The targeted pay range for this position in the following location is:

United States - Redwood City Office GHQ: $25 - $35 / Hourly

Our pay ranges reflect the minimum and maximum target for new hire pay for the full-time position determined by role, level, and location.The pay range shown is based on our compensation structure in place at the time of posting and may be updated periodically based on business needs. Individual pay is based on additional factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education and/or training.

The targeted pay range listed reflects the base pay only and does not include bonus, equity, or benefits. Employees are eligible for bonus, and equity may be offered depending on the position.
