As a Security Officer - Retail Access Control Full-Time in Sparrows Point, MD, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents and support a welcoming atmosphere in a dynamic retail environment. Your role involves monitoring entrances, conducting routine patrols, and remaining visible throughout the location to provide exceptional customer service. What You'll Do:

• Monitor and control access points at the retail location to help to deter unauthorized entry and/or exit.
• Provide customer service by assisting visitors and employees with access-related inquiries and following site-specific procedures.
• Carry out security-related procedures in accordance with site policies, including visitor and employee identification checks.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations within the retail environment in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the retail premises and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and observe for unusual conditions.
• Document and report any security-related incidents, observations, or concerns according to Allied Universal and client protocols.
• Assist with emergency response activities as directed by site-specific procedures and Allied Universal guidelines.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must be at least 21 years of age for this role.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
