What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the logistics and distribution location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity.
  • Monitor for any suspicious activity or unauthorized access and report findings according to site protocols.
  • Assist with controlling access points for vehicles and/or personnel as required by site-specific procedures.
  • Communicate professionally with staff, visitors, and contractors to provide assistance or information related to security-related matters.
  • Document and report any incidents, hazards, or maintenance issues encountered during patrols.
  • Support Allied Universal and client management by following established protocols and maintaining a visible presence throughout the location.

Minimum Requirements:

  • At least one year of security-related experience is required.
  • Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
  • A guard card or license is preferred.
  • Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
