Accountant

As an Accountant at GTI, you will be responsible for supporting Accounting operations on our Finance team. This individual will support marketaccounting functionin preparation of weekly and month end financial workpapers.This role requires the ability to adapt in a fast-paced, evolving environment.

• Supports all functions of the Finance team including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, billing, journal entries, check runs,GL accountreconciliations,bankreconciliations, month-end close, cash management and reporting

• Performs period-end financial close responsibilities

• Duties include preparing journal entries and coding invoices/vouchers

• Performs reconciliations for area supported and analyzes resulting variances

• Supports internal customers by researching questions and investigating variances on the financial statements

• Supportsstandard operating procedures including month-beginning and month-end checklists

• Complies witha proper system of effective internal controls

• Effectively communicates and collaborates within theAccountingteam and cross functionally to ensure proper workflow and adherence to standard operating policies and procedures

• Engages in ad hoc projects and workflow process improvements as requested

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Financeand2+ years of related experience; CPA preferred

• Highly motivated, self-directed,innovativeand able to work independently or among teams with keen judgement, commonsenseand resourcefulness

• Adapts and thrives in a demanding,fast-paced environment

• Superior communication and interpersonal skills (verbal, non-verbal, written), with the ability to build relationships at all levels, both internally and externally

• Must understand andcomply withthe rules, regulations, policies, and procedures of Green Thumb

• Must passany and allrequired background checks
• Must be and remain compliant with all legal or company regulations for working in the industry
• Must possess valid driver's license
• Must be a minimum of 21 years of age
• Must be approved by state badging agency to work in cannabis industry
