Genesis10 is currently seeking a Senior Risk Analyst - Cyber Risk with our client in the financial industry. This is a hybrid 6-month contract to hire role located in Pittsburgh, PA, Birmingham, AL, Dallas, TX, Phoenix, AZ or Strongsville, OH. Compensation: $46.00-51.00/HR W2 Role Overview We are seeking a Senior / Lead Cyber Risk & Security Analytics Analyst with a strong quantitative background to support enterprise cyber risk and security analytics initiatives. This role applies mathematics, statistics, and data analysis to cyber risk quantification and supports the deployment of vendor and internally built analytics tools. A banking or regulated environment background is strongly preferred. Key Responsibilities Apply quantitative and statistical techniques to cyber risk analysis and modeling Analyze security, risk, and threat data to produce actionable insights and reporting Design and automate dashboards, metrics, and executive-ready reporting Deploy, configure, and enhance cyber risk and security analytics tools Integrate data from security platforms, audit findings, and risk systems Support IT audit and GRC activities through data-driven analysis Partner with cybersecurity, risk, audit, and technology teams Required Qualifications Strong background in mathematics, statistics, or quantitative analysis Experience in cyber risk, security analytics, IT risk, or related domains Hands-on experience with data analysis, modeling, and technical reporting Working knowledge of cybersecurity concepts and control frameworks Experience supporting IT audit or assurance activities Tooling Experience (One or More) Safe Security (RiskLens), Balbix, Koverr, X Analytics ThreatConnect, Ostrich, Direct Connect SQL-based analytics or reporting platforms Experience with vendor tools and/or internally built analytics solutions Preferred Banking or financial services experience Degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Data Science, Engineering, or related field Experience with FAIR or quantitative cyber risk methodologies Only candidates available and ready to work directly as Genesis10 employees will be considered for this position.
